Galleries and Banners

I have just done a quite nice looking gallery I guess but I wonder if the banner I have placed on the top of the gallery isn't too big, it's 620H X 280V. What do you think ?

here is the general framework look

Yea a littel to big it take up to much space on the page.. a good size banner for a gallery page would be 468x60.

It's too big.. show us your gal :)

I'm too shy to show it :) anyway I have changed it ...maybe it looks ok on big screen but on laptops this banner may look like full page add and inappropriate, the users would have to scroll the page to see the thumbs.

Thanks for suggestions guys!

I think good size of banner must be not bigger 640x100 and 100x400(vertical) for galleries.

I have seen your http://www.geocities.com/bbwebmaster1/shot1.JPG and i just want say that big banner on top is bad for listing on TGPs.

And than smaller banner than smaller brandwich :) You can use small banners (but much quality) and you'll have much bigger CTR on gallery.

I hope you're not planning on hosting your galleries at that geocities account?
