Murray's buddy & girlfriend are coming in today, so the American to Aussie ratio here at my house will be 1:1 for the next week or so. I can't want to ask them to say "Good Day Mate" |jester|

I've got to get down & clean the Pool House for the weekend's festivities, as we're all going to see the Sabres play tomorrow. Murray's 2 for 2 in seeing them win so far |thumb

I'm feeling rather manic and chatty this morning, probably due to lack of sleep and the consumption of far too much coffee. But we know what that means - where there are ups, there are unexpected thread derailments consisting of name-calling and the searching of past posts for more ammunition in my unreasonable attempts at character assassination.

Not much from here.. tho the streets are bulging with an additional 300k temporary residents. Once again they are impeeding the locals by blocking off entire streets for 8-10 hours.. |angry| but since i have NO life it won't really matter.

8 more days before the 1st wave of invading visitors begins. now THAT i'm looking foward too...

I have a house full of "Hoosiers" as some friends flew down here to go to the Champs Bowl to see Purdue play Maryland. Their plane came in from ATL at 10:44PM last night, but thanks to Denver it didn’t get to leave for over an hour later and didn’t get to MCO until 1am and back here at 2:15am. Nothing like a major airport during the holidays, I have never seen it so packed so late. It took 15 mins just to get out of the parking garage.

So the plans we had for today are pretty much in limbo as every one is still sleeping, I do know we are heading back to Orlando for the game later this afternoon for a 8pm kickoff.

Man I could use a nap.

Not much on the agenda today. I have a reserved seat in front of the TV to watch the alma mater play in the Sun Bowl |firstdown this afternoon. Late this evening I have to pick up the roomie at the airport.

Cleo looks around her home and even in her closets for any Aussies but doesn't find any or any other house guests not even the crazy Russian one that comes and goes without warning.

I actually took yesterday off from work and feel very refreshed today due to this. :)

Not much going on today other then getting back to work and my usual daily mundane stuff.

Good Morning.

Dragging my ass a bit this morning. Went to a friend's last night and we polished off a case of beer between the 2 of us. Good thing the wife wasn't drinking so she got us home at around 1am. :D

just moved our bedroom to the basement so our budding drummer can have the room farthest from the neighbour to practice in hehe...going to invest in some soundproofing too. Lucky our neighbour is almost never home :)

I think it's more like a sport hehe...pull up a chair and grab a beer! :D

Today has started out much better than yesterday. No frantic runs to the vet and stressing out over my lil furball, so it's a good day :)

Up early digging into a new script that will be better commented some day I'm sure.

Supposed to be 83F here today so the a/c will be on soon and I'll have to remember to cover my mug to keep the coffee from getting cold.

One or more of those threads that continues for a few days would be nice. :D

Would that be the Meryl Streep or the Julia Louis-Dreyfus version of the line? I think Meryl wins for bad accent but Julia's delivery cracks me up.

I was sleeping like a baby this morning when all of a sudden I heard a horrible noise. Stuff crashing and glass breaking etc..I thought a plane had hit a house or something. Come to find out it was the house two down from me being torn down. The people sold it a while ago and it came with three lots. I guess they are tearing it down to build a big new house. I can't wait to watch it be built should be fun!
