Google Groups posting

anyone have a good history posting to some of these groups or is it not worth the time.

Looking to see if anyone has posted gallerys at different google groups they have subscribed to and how was the traffic and sales if any

I used to have a Yahoo group with 8000+ members, it sucks..

I actually did hit the google groups and also usenet. I did get some hits out of both, but not a whole lot. However, since groups is free and usenet cost me $5 to sign up I still don't think it was a waste. My reasoning is that if any of those hits subscribed to my RSS feed then there's always a chance that a sale will be made.
