Searching the board help please
 

Ok, I am just not very good at this whole interwebs thing I guess because i tried to use the search function here for a thread I remember quite well a few years ago.
it was about The Gallery People and I believe the thread title was The Gallery People you owe me money!!
or something like that, I have done several searches one of which gave me 193 PAGES or results!

does anyone know how to find something quicker then that? LOL

I think that may have have been before the big crash.

bummer... i think you may be right though, I did a search using 'spalabz' because i knew i had made a post in that thread and it didn't come up for me :(

Tell me about it. We did all we could to give him the benefit of the doubt. And, he kind of threw it in our faces when we realized that people were getting screwed. He did the first GGandJ design for free. We felt like we owed him.

Joe did great work but his price was too low. I warned him about it a couple of months before the thread came about, he STILL owes me 10 gallery designs LOL i don't think I will ever see it. I know he was reported to Las Vegas PD to their internet crimes unit, did you hear if anything ever came about with that?

I haven't heard anything since he told me that I knew he would make good on all deals. I told him he was charging too low a price as well.

That was what, back in 2002 or 2003?

He disappeared owing me a ton of galleries too - after offering a special deal to board members over on ANS. The only time I've ever actually been totally screwed over in this business. Well, there was iBill back in the day but at least they actually made good on what I was owed, even if it was over a year later.

My last email from Joe (actually from his partner/wife/girlfriend/whatever) said I'd be getting 20 of my 50 galleries the following week. Needless to say... |bullshit|

LOL I can't tell you how many times I was just sitting in front of my computer working on something or other and out of the blue Joe would contact me and tell me 'tomorrow i will have rough drafts of those galleries for you' and this was months after I had written them off LOL

I even got phone calls letting me know they were being worked on 'right now' and I never contacted the guy

I made a post in the thread that gave a time line of what had happened between the time I had ordered and paid for the galleries and the day I made the post (we had ordered an ultimatum to Saddam, went to the UN, declared war, invaded and won the war! - you know what I mean, mission accomplished won) and Joe was calling me asking why I was mad

I told him I wasn't mad and I thought the post was funny.... real funny because it was true.... the humor was lost on him LOL
