new years resolutions?

anyone have any? i for one, have been gaining and losing the same 10 lbs for the last decade...

Cleo 2007-01-02 03:04 PM

I thought that I would stop going to the gym, get real fat, and maybe develop a heroin addition.

dareutwo 2007-01-02 03:10 PM

My resolution 10 years ago was to not make any resolutions.
So far it seems to be working out. :)

I'm with dareutwo I make none as I never used to keep them!

I'm also afraid to make any, and I too have been gaining/losing the same 10# for about 5 years now.

Exercise more. I actually got off my butt and worked out today, lets see how long that lasts. :)

Do what I do. during my weekdays: start the morning off with a large green tea, eat sushi and seafood soup for lunch, and then have a grilled chicken salad for dinner.
weekends: soup and salad bar at the local diner in addition to a seafood meal.

At least that's been my normal routine for the past few months. Can't really complain with the amount of baggage that I've been losing considering that I don't exercise all that much.

I indulge every once in a while with a burger and a shake or maybe an appetizer sampler at Dennys.

Add 10lbs to my max bench press

I am trying to stop cussing so much!
I already go to the gym & work out several times a week, but I am resolving to stick to it & not get inconsistent again which I did during the Summer months.

SheepGuy 2007-01-03 03:12 PM

I'm going to concentrate more on my gambling, force myself to take the time to go to the track and bet more on hockey. I already play enough poker, I just have to round things out a bit more, diversify.

I’ve broken every New Years Resolution I’ve ever made so I stopped making them. |huh

That said the little lady and I are going to lose some weight this year because if I get any fatter I’ll need a mirror to see my dick and if she gets any fatter I’ll need a step stool to mount her |loony|

That really did used to be me and my old lady. I lost 130 pounds and she lost 80. We are still by no means skinny, but shedding the pounds not only makes you look better but I havent felt physically this good since I was a kid. I was always a big guy in the 250-280 range, but I was usually in pretty good shape playing sports and stuff. Then I got married, had some health problems and before I knew it I weighed 335 pounds. Now I weigh 200-205 pounds which I havent weighed since I was probably 13 years old. Its a tough thing to do, dont get me wrong, I always said for years that I wanted to lose alot of weight and just couldnt stick to it. This time around the thing that I did different was taking ephederine. Its not a cure all, it wont make not want to eat forever, but it definitely helps with not getting hungry all the time especially when you first start out, and it raises your metabolism so that if you do go off track for a few days you dont gain weight like crazy.

As far as my new years resolution goes I would just like to keep on keeping on with what I am doing and get my new link list going strong in the coming year. With all the work I have done in 2006 I think I have set myself up for an improving 2007, and just got to keep on for a terrific 2008.
