What day did you go and was it as cold as it looks?

We went on Thursday, it wasn't very cold at all so that is why we aren't wearing our jackets, in the upper sixties, but it did get really cold as soon as the sun went down.

Red Rock was one of my favorite Hide-away places when i lived in vegas.. and from our house we had, at the time a very clear view.. now i understand my upper end of sahara is built up, blocking that view as well.

some of the places we used to explore still had petroglyphs from 100's if not 1000's of years ago.

I'm so jealous! I wanted to take a side trip there and to the valley of fire but none of my traveling companions wanted to go! After seeing these, next trip for sure!
