Getting listed - A little advice please
 

Hi Guys,

When you view a freesite for listing on your link sites, the freesite will have an index page with an ENTER button and a list of link list buttons that the submitter hopes will list the free site.

My question is, how many link list buttons would you guys deem to be acceptable on this page?

I am currently using 9 in a 3 x 3 table, but how many could I use for submitting purposes, before you guys said "too many" and refused to list my freesite?

Obviously I would like loads of sites to list my freesites, but I don't want people to think I am taking the piss by submitting to too many link lists at once.

If you use the recips provided by the various LLs you would be safe with 12. More then that and it would depend on how neatly you are able to group them. 20 starts to look like a banner farm and would possibly get you declined a few places.

I group my custom text recips with 16-20 lists, and usually one at 12.

If you do it right, you can make text recips once and use them over and again. |thumb

I usually use 12 or 16 and haven't had a problem

I have just moved to text recips of 16 and I haven't been declined for it yet. I think 16 is too many if they are no custom text though...

Seems up to 12 is becoming normal...but as was mentioned with text and recip banners, One thing I see that I like is that any free sites using text links only should keep them as text only and for the sites with recip banners, keep them all recip banners. Makes it fair for everyone the same :)
