Hey UW why is it poor taste to use carol's name, Mina is part of Carols network.

Then why hide it? That's even worse - using a friend's name in a truly half-assed and antiquated attempt at gaining SE traffic. I certainly hope she enjoys all the success which she so obviously deserves. |thumb

Hidden text is also a good way to get a site banned by Google.

I honestly don't think she's trying to hide anything, just letting people know what they get when they join.

Unless I'm missing something, is it hidden text or just a mention on the join page?

Useless is right - that block of hidden text is stupid when you take into account that she is in Carol's network. If carol doesn't allow her to use her name, it really should be removed. If she does allow it, I'd put it in readable text & use it as a selling point.

Of course, I'm allowed to use her name as a selling point. And I do openly in various other places.

I put the hidden text there because I really don't know anything about SEO, had no idea there was anything wrong with it, and thought I'd try it.

Now that I DO know that, not only will it not do me any good, that it's obviously considered shady, I'll remove it.

I'm updating my LF tour right now to match my new design and when it's finished, will have Billy @ WRP upload it asap. If I could get at the server it's on myself, it would be done that much sooner.
