LinkAdmin

Is LinkAdmin still the script of choice for LL's?

I took at look at the usefulscripts.com
There seems to be an fopen error appearing at the bottom of the site. All the latest news for LinkAdmin is dated 2001 for LinkAdmin v1.0

Is there a newer version of this script, is it still being sold, updated, etc..?

Is there another script people are using now?

Any help / insight would be greatly appreciated.

The script is still being sold and there seems to be some broken links on the site too. I will contact the owner about it and the last version is the one thats on there.

So is LinkAdmin still the script of choice?

It must really have been a good script to not need any updates since 2001 :)

It needs an update bad. Does anyone know if Richard is willing to sell it? I'd have my programmers re-code it and do a V2. It is an awesome but ageing script.

Jay is yours custom or do you use Link Admin?

You're right. With a few tweaks it could be good again.

That would be nice - 5 copies I own of it and only one gets used once in a while

So what is the script of choice these days or is there one?
Is everything custom?

Lemmy 2007-02-13 05:51 PM

There are plenty to choose from. XPowerLinks and Dragon List seem to be among the more popular. I have experience with both and would give the nod to DL for versatility and customizability (yeah, I think that's a word :D ).

I run a fully custom script...would not recommend going that route, huge pain in the ass at times |banghead|

I've heard nothing but glowing reviews of DragonList |thumb

i like the script used on www.jonnylinks.com

owner says its custom tho

Linkster 2007-02-17 12:08 PM

Fris - that looks very similar to a combination of Penisbots script and TDavids old LL script

I like LinkX from http://www.jmbsoft.com/ .

It's cheap in the first place and has many options.
