Hi johnnybg, just read all the thread posts 24 times and I'm up a tree.
.htaccess is enabled on my server, Servage help people did it for me, I tried to download it to an empty web via ftp but got lied to by the ftp about the server being unavailable (I did another file to make sure) I was going to paste UWs code:
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} eonpal\.com [NC,OR]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_REFERER} eonsex\.com [NC]
RewriteRule .* - [F]

into to it and upload it. Then his warning came back:
Remember to test your site immediately after editing your .htaccess file.

and I bottled it.
I really do not have the skill to mend it if I f*** it up.
I want rid of these scumbags while causing them as much grief as poss, but I have no idea how. Can you, or somebody else help please?

braindead.

Not exactly sure what you did wrong.

Did you change .htaccess file and uploaded it? If you did that and your site doesn't work, repeat all steps, but now just remove those three lines of code you've put in .htaccess.

If you have some FTP program which can edit files right on the server (like Total Commander I use) you can do that, too. Just be sure to make a copy of original file before changing it.

If your site still doesn't work, just remove .htaccess and contact your hosing company to help you out. This is really a straightforward stuff and you shouldn't bump into problems like these.

Thanks for that jbg. I think I have the thing in hand with my server.
Is there a lot more arse-hole tricks I need to look out for?
