Getting Listed At Virexy Porn Links
 

What hoops do I have to jump through to get listed at Virexy Porn Links? I never gave it much thought since I've been submitting there for years but I just checked and not a single site is listed. |cry|

Two words: secret handshake.

I have submitted a few sites as well and can't see any bang for my buck.

I just started there. Unless I hear from other people I give it a couple months of submits. After that I deactivate it in my DB and unless I hear that something got excepted eventually it's just a waste of time and I'm not going to just give out link after link to them if they aren't going to one send me traffic and two send people of my other recips that are sending me traffic, send them some traffic as well. Basically not going to allow them to just leech traffic.

I used to get listed there most of the times I submitted a site. I guess I was sick the day they taught the secret handshake 'cuz I'm not getting in either anymore :(

Why do you keep submitting to a LL which doest list you?

I can only speak for myself. I started submitting there several years ago with two different domains and was getting listed. I've had a new domain for six months so I took it for granted that my sites on the new domain were being listed. I decided to start checking my stats a little closer and cut out any link lists that weren't sending any traffic. I noticed Virexy wasn't sending any so I went looking for my sites and didn't find any. I've got two more that are about to get canned if I don't hear something back from the webmasters pretty soon. Thank God for SSI. I can delete a link list from 100's of sites with a little copy and backspace. Pfffffttt! gone.... :D

I get listed at Virexy Porn quite frequently - with no secret handshake.

Not every site I submit gets listed, but most do. It takes a week or two to get listed and you do get acceptance emails, but not rejections. My last acceptance email was yesterday, the previous one was on the 9th Feb.
Try sending a PM to Holister asking if there's a particular problem.

Hmmmm. Sorry I missed that thread, although I don't know him....or her.

Not sure if it helps, but I've just looked through my acceptance emails and it's the less common niches that seem to get listed there for me.
Shaved, hairy, Hentai, fisting, handjobs, footjobs, spanking, Indian - all recently listed.

Just to make it clear, I've never submitted there and know nothing about the place. I was being silly little me. Please don't take my secret handshake comment as me hinting at some sort of behind-the-scenes tomfoolery. I know nothing.

If I were a conspiracy theorist I would be worried...but I'm not :D

I just think it sucks that I get a new domain that's not on "the blacklist", build decent sites, obey the rules, spend the time to submit sites, and.....oh, nevermind, I've had 3 or 8 drinks so I'll go start the Valentine's foreplay with the wife....

I spoke with Holister in late October...he said reviews were pretty behind at that time.

Of course, that's what we expected you to say after you let the proverbial cat out of the bag

I got my sites listed there for two and a half years. 5 sites a week then all of a sudden my sites didn't get listed anymore. I sent an e-mail asking if there was a problem with my sites and got no response so I said fuck it and stopped submitting there.

Got an acceptance e-mail from Holister today, for a fee I'll let you in on the secret handshake.

I would rather endure a two page diatribe from UW in his foulest mood than pay for that handshake... :D

OK, I've had two e-mails bounce to Holister for mailbox being full. Two PM's here unanswered. I need to pull the Virexy recip from 100's of sites. I don't want to get my nuts in a mousetrap with anyone. Is this notification enough?
