New FS - Need advice and opinions

Here is my Free Site: http://www.monsterpink.com/fs/bb/gir...cum/index.html

Is it good enough to be listed? Also what category would you listed under; is blowjob, cumshot good, or more like a hardcore category?

MrYum 2007-02-21 01:46 PM

Ah, you've learned very well |thumb

The site looks great...I see zero defects :)

Only comment I'd have is I've never been nuts about using a webmasters link on free sites. Frankly, that's not really information we want surfers to focus on anyway.

Oh, and noticed one hiccup most likely from your html editor...see this a lot. In one block of text on gallery one, you've got "dont" instead of "don't".

Beyond that...well done |thumb

Tekster 2007-02-21 02:53 PM

Thanks MrYum, I had a good teacher :D

I changed the webmasters link to one hub of mine and fixed the "hiccup" on gallery one.

What a about the category it belongs to?

fresh 2007-02-21 03:29 PM

looks good but why you give that much free porn, well guess you add galleries here. And 2257 is needed on index page only

MrYum 2007-02-21 03:29 PM

Sorry about that Tek...missed responding to that part...duh

Hmmm...well, in general terms...always submit the your sites to whatever category best fits your content...not what best fits the paysite. Ultimately, the goal is for your site to match the category, which matches your content, which matches the paysite you're promoting. That sequence creates the best targetting of the traffic and should result in the best sales numbers.

To answer your question about this particular site, the content is a bit of a hodgepodge...

Gallery one has some oral, some hardcore and a little cumshot content.

Gallery two is pretty much all oral, with some facials shots.

You'll get listed more consistently by keeping your content consistent to whatever niche you're submitting to. Also, most reviewers (myself anyway) like to see at least half the pics specific to the niche.

I'd submit this site to oral/blowjobs. There should be enough oral content in that first gallery to satisfy most reviewers, but there's not enough hardcore or cum to pass muster.

Hope all that makes sense :D

Oh, almost forgot...you have one pic out of sequence in gallery one. She's fucking...she's throating...she's fucking again...ooops

You qualified to give legal advice on 2257???

Had no idea you were an attorney in the adult industry |crazy|

fresh 2007-02-21 03:58 PM

Not an attorney, let me know LLists which ask 2257 on all pages then...

I disagree. For instance if we take milf cruiser site. There are few models that do not look like milf at all, but has big boobs. If i submit them to boobs category will the surfers like Clicking through milf cruiser site if they are looking for boobs?

hmmm...perhaps it would be better leave the answer for pros, don'tcha think :D

TekAngel that's a nice looking site. I'd agree with Mr Yum about the category, although if there were even just a couple more cumshots in the first gallery I'd take it in facials/cumshots. As a general rule, I like to see at least half the content match the category on a site.

Well, first off there aren't many link sites that have chosen to be 2257 police, so most don't require it at all. However, for the sake of covering ones ass...it's probably not a bad idea to have a statement on ones sites. Some 'choose' to put in on the entry only...others put it on all pages, since it has no effect on getting listed. Personally, I put a link on every page I put online these days...no big deal, and this is one of those cases where I want to put up the best good faith effort possible.

You'll find that almost all reviewers want the site content to match the category. If you're not matching your site content to the paysite you're promoting, that's not the reviewers fault.

I do however agree that some paysites free promo content doesn't fit the niche very well. Speaking for myself only here, but when I run across that situation...I either move the site or outright decline it if it doesn't fit the niche. Again, it's the free site builders responsibility (and in their best interest from a sales POV), to use content that fits the niche.

You have the right to post whatever you wish, within GG&J guidelines of course.

However, if you're giving out bad advice...you should expect to be called on it and have that mis-information corrected. The goal is to help others, not to have them end up in the "why wasn't my site listed" threads...or worse.

This is one of those situations where someone who's reviewing dozens of sites daily might just have a better handle on what it takes to get listed than you do.

fresh 2007-02-21 04:33 PM

I do not mind being corrected, i just mind when somebody says me shut up in public question. Out of discussion come the truth, not out of one man talk

sure you do, you can do anything you want. But in this community, don't dish it out unless you want it right back at you ;)

fresh 2007-02-21 04:40 PM

Do you feel the difference when somebody is asking for all oppinions ( meaningt everybody can speak) and somebody is asking one oppinion from specific person?

Thanks ponygirl, I wish I had a few more cumshot pics, but it is content I got from the sponsor. I will look a bit harder next time and try to match sponsor, site and content to fit the category better. Just like MrYum explained.

Greenguy 2007-02-21 05:04 PM

I'd just like to say that I do not agree with anything this "fresh" person has said about Free Sites & I do agree with everything else that has been posted in this thread |thumb

That's rock solid advice.

Oh, what the heck...just kinda found this humorous :D

From your post in a 'why wasn't my site listed' thread.

I realize your questions were directed to a specific reviewer in that thread, however this is a public forum and folks are free to respond to threads.

I would suggest that you try to be careful to ensure your information is solid, before mistakenly leading someone down the wrong path.

fresh 2007-02-21 05:25 PM

where i mislead anybody. I said that i disagree with you, but when you corrected me i agreed. Isnt that how forums supposed to work?

fresh 2007-02-21 05:28 PM

And yes there is nothing funny, when she told me to shut up i knew it was about what i said in hoes thread. Again i explained the difference between these 2 situations

I hope you're not talking about me. I never told you to shut up, so don't put words in my mouth. What I said was a tongue in cheek reaction because I thought it was a little amusing that you had come into this thread after what you posted on the other.

Karma is a wonderful thing |thumb

fresh 2007-02-21 06:34 PM

Again- i explained the difference between these 2 threads and it is nothing amusing
+ the guy came again with same wrong ideas after i said they were wrong. In this thread i did not came again with same wrong ideas after i was told i was wrong.
These are 2 big differences between the situations

Yes, but your opinion is incorrect on a couple of things:

I'm not a lawyer, but as far as I know, it's needed on any page that might be used as an entry to your domain. So, if a SE picks this FS up or if a TGP decides to link to the galleries, it would be required. Better safe than sorry |thumb

That's the reason that you do not build sites where the content does not match the sponsor. If the women don't at least look milf, I'm not going to list it in a milf category. If you submitted it to bobs & the women had big boobs, there'd be no problem on my end, but like you said, it's not a sure thing that the surfer is looking for milfs. So, like MrYum said, "Ultimately, the goal is for your site to match the category, which matches your content, which matches the paysite you're promoting"

****

I will agree with fresh on one thing - get rid of 6 non-blowjob pics from each gallery & submit it to blowjob categories (you can try for cumshots, but I'd personally probably decline it based on the lack of cumshots in the 1st gallery)

Preacher 2007-02-21 07:08 PM

Fresh, just leave it. You're arguing with two of the nicest and most giving people on this board, it can't go well for you.

I put my 2257 on every page of a freesite, always have always will. It can't hurt.

I also believe that on a page like this: http://www.monsterpink.com/fs/bb/gir...elastarrc.html at least 1/3 of the gallery shots should have cum in it if it's a cum site, I guess I'm not as strict as some others. |greenguy|

But facials and blowjobs go hand in hand so it's not going to kill you to get it listed in a BJ category if you just don't have enough cum content.

Tekster 2007-02-21 08:00 PM

I have to agree with Preacher; I also put the 2257 on every page since it does not take anything away from the site and it can't hurt.

I know that I should have more cumshots to make it into the cumshots category, but blowjobs will do for now. Maybe I will remove some pics since I don't need 18 per gallery and it would look more like a blowjob site.(Thanks Greenie)

Thanks all for the great advice.
