Folder Limit For Windows?
Is there a limit on the number of folders within another folder in Windows? The reason I ask is this: I have a folder with the name of my domain, "best wet pussy". In this folder I put the folders of my sites. They were all in an orderly list but now when I make a new folder they're all getting jumbled up at the bottom of the list. Not in rows and columns anymore. It's like I've run out of room and Windows is just sticking them in wherever it can. |huh If there is a limit, can I adjust something so I can have more folders?

AFAIK there is (or was) a global file/folder limit but i don't think that this is the reason of your problems.
FAT or NTFS ? WIN 98, XP or VISTA ? How many subfolders do you have in that folder ? |
Windows still has a file limit on directories?

I have a folder on my desktop that contains 5,561 other folders and sub/sub/sub folders 6-7 levels deep without any problems.

# of folders? Let me count and scroll for the next 20 minutes without losing my place and having to start over :D |

All my other folders and folders within folders all look fine |
I found the problem. The original folder was set to "pictures" in the properties section. I changed it to "documents" and clicked "apply to all sub folders". Somehow in all this all the folders got jumbled up. I re-set the sub folder back to "pictures" and it fixed itself. |pokefun| Licker4U
