I need your opinion on my freesite

Hi everyone I'm new here,

I just build a freesite and started the submission process.
Most LL accepted it so far but I got 2 rejection claiming that
there are blind links on my site!
I cant find any. Maybe some
of you can tell me if you find any. Your opinion would be greatly
appreciated.
And if any of you are LL owners I would be glad to put your recip on my site if you're interested!

Here's my link: http://www.sexonheat.com/sites/hotsolobabes/glamour/
Thanx everyone!

the link on the main page 'click here for some sample videos' is blind because the surfer doesn't know where they're going. Are you sending them to a tour? gallery? sample page? Try saying click here for more sample videos at New Solos or NewSolos.com or something like that.

also, there's no sales text on the gallery pages, not much on the site itself. I wouldn't expect it to make too much $$ for you that way. You have 3 outgoing links per page, use 'em! :)

Ahhhh..... That would probably be me that rejected that site on both of my lists. I didn't get past the main page because of the blind links.

The ones that say "CLICK HERE FOR SOME SAMPLE VIDEOS" and "GET INSTANT ACCESS!" are why I declined the site. :(

I see!

Alright thanks for the advice|thumb

I wasn't sure at the begining about the main page myself
Cool I'll fix it. Besides this is only my second freesite That I build.

Thanx

I hate to keep bringing this up in different threads, but if the tour actually offers sample videos, isn't the surfer getting what they expect? Sample videos? They don't have to pay for the samples so their is no deceit or trickery. How is that blind? |huh

I mean, if they get sample videos on a gallery page or the sponsors page, what's the difference? Sample vids are sample vids

I think it's more misleading than blind, really. On the main page of a freesite you expect gallery links to free content. 'click here for some sample videos' could be misconstrued as a gallery link. I agree that you and I know where that link is going, but does a surfer? does a newbie surfer? If I click that link & get a paysite tour, am I going to look for the free videos that are sometimes hard to find on a tour, or am I going to click back out feeling like I just got taken.

It's really all about trust, and for a LL, trust = return visitors which is very important. Every site I list is an extension of my site & I want everyone to be able to click on any link and not feel like they were manipulated onto a tour page.

Don't forget, we see it all a bit differently than surfers do, especially new surfers ;)

Lets not forget i called you a jackass first, i really appreciate you proving my point. The day your 100% right all the time is the day i buy you a palm job from a shemale.

How bout this ends here and no more threads get tarnished with this bs.

fresh 2007-02-23 09:07 PM

Who are you? The buddy of johnyydoe? Sorry i do not remember you calling me jackass :D I do not mind to finish it here. I see there are few more people following johhny's idea that i do not know the rules despite the fact i am listed at all places i submit. Pure logic :D

Very nicely put Ponygirl |thumb

Regarding your site...actually, it's not a bad effort :)

Looks like you must have already fixed up blind links. For future reference, here's a great thread on the subject:

Blind links and how to avoid them

A couple comments on your site:

It's a very clean look...although you can dress it up a bit. Add some juicy text here and there...tease the surfer a bit. And you're allowed up to 3 outbound links per page, use them wisely...those links are how you make sales :)

You seem to have some alignment issues on the galleries. They do look ok at 1024, but anything wider, they slide left.

Lastly, that particular host is considered a free host and as such, is not acceptable at most link sites.

Other than that...a pretty good first effort |thumb

Thanks for opinion|thumb
I appreciate it
As for my host, no I dont consider it free since I still pay for it with each sale that I make. But thats just me. I do have another host (not free though).

Anyways thanks again
