Link Lists

As I am setting here submitting to LL's, a question came to mind. Is it worthwhile to build a LL. Seems like there are so many out there. Just would like to know if it is worth my time and also how is money made from them.

Thanks

If you've got some time on your hands (3 or 4 years!) and are prepared to make next to no money for a while, then I say go for it! :D

Seriously, Link Lists are a LOT of work, take a lot of time and attention and can be worth it over time if you stick with it.

Thanks Lady, maybe it was not such a good idea.

I agree with Lady, it is for someone who can keep working at it for a long time while making nada. Three years seem to be about how long mine has taken to finally show some signs of a steady income.

There's no guarantee your list would ever grow into what you might hope either, there is a ton of competition. So, if you do it, make damn sure you want to give it 100% and don't waste your time otherwise. ;)

Search this forum. This question seems to come up at least once a month, if not more often.

Seems like you received the same advice I gave you at CC ;-) "I would not expect to start making any significant money on it for 2-3 years..."

Yes, it needs a lot of work, but if you have time to do this-it can work really great for you after some time

Its all about getting the search engine traffic. If you are good at seo you should give it a shot, but it will take time.

Sure its hard to make a LL, but in this biz nothing is easy. Its hard work like any other biz as well.

If i would have the time I would make a LL rather then a TGP these days.

I don't have a LL, but I can see how this is a high-maintenance kind of site. You have to be committed for a long term project with this, and who knows where that specific business model will even be in 2-3 years.

LL vs TGPs

Hey masters,
so what would u recommend to newbie to start with?
We have adult videochat site(making money yet)but traffic is main problem (as usual)

Building LL sites seems to be long term ,iffy project.
Do u think TGPs would work better for this purpose? There is not a lot,but very good looking models on site.(maybe would be usefull for TGPs/MGPs)

Do you think it is worthwhile to focus on TGPs as primary source of traffic?
Or should we look for other sources of traffic?

Many thanx.

jonnydoe 2007-04-02 08:51 AM

Ed I think maybe you meant to start your own thread. It would probably be best to take a "shotgun" approach and get a variety of traffic sources working for you SEO of course, TGP, LL and PPC. If you don't have an affiliate program you should...
