Good Freezing Rain Friday :)
 

Morning
We are getting pelted with freezing rain. Our fine power company has been repairing power lines all night but, we had no power most of the night. :) So, I have to assume that we will be losing power again because it's not getting better. The freezing rain is supposed to stop around noon. We have about 1/2 - 3/4 of an inch or ice on the ground, trees and power lines right now.

We're getting pelted with rain as well - but since it's 37°, all the snow is melting & the yard starting to look rather shitty (and yes, I am referring to the piles of dog crap that were covered with snow)

I'm not sure what work I'll be doing today after the normal updating, but I do know that I'm going to see the Sabres play Chop's favorite hockey team tonight |thumb

we also have lots of rain and the darkness.. hate that. My biorythm is totally messed up, I wake up at 01 or 02 midnight and cannot sleep back, crazy... but it's Friday and there are people out who are happy to know it. For me it is just another lonely day.

Reminds me of the ice storm we had here years back. Power was out for weeks for some people...scary!

Well today the schools are closed and they are advising everyone to stay home. The snow has been falling only for a couple of hours now but there is 0 visibility - thanks to the wind. Looks like its gonna be fun filled snow blower day.

Damn, eight killed at a high school just a few hours from here in Enterprise, AL. We had a water spout out in the bay but they don't do any damage when they come ashore. Just drop a lot of water. Tornado's suck.

Snow, rain, freezing rain, hail...it's all mixed in and coming down. Otherwise the same for me today.

no snow, chilly temps - its got to be in the low 80s. brrr

Sent an offer letter to one guy from the stack o' resumes and he accepted, so, plenty of work on tap for me next week. Thank goodness the IRS sends me 2 copies of the 32 page booklet on paperwork reduction -- it really simplifies the fact that I need to have him fill out 3 forms, two of which contain almost duplicate data. Thank goodness the IRS is looking for ways to reduce paperwork.

Really shity weather day here today. They just issued a flood statement, we're already in a high wind advisory (45-50mph gusts) and its only 29 out. Other than the weather things are pretty good over here. Traffic has really been picking up lately, and the sign up and rebill gods seems to be smiling upon me. Have a good one everybody.

Not much happening today just another in Bearadice...hopefully more will come in to spend their tax refunds.

We had a really weird cloud formation at like 4am this morning.. the moon was behind this cloud and it made it look like an eye in the sky. Didn't help that the police were circling around in the choppers looking for some fugitive.

oh and it's 41 right now but our expected high is 63.. so it will be a bear pleasant day!!

Wild one last night, wind howling, snow blowing around, trees down. Then around 5:00 a.m. it starts to get warm and rain. Small flood in my basement and the storm sewer out front was threatening to back up, but seems ok now. It's actually nice out and 3 above zero now ;)

afternoon all. Knocked out a lot work after going big on coffee. Nice day out now. Mid 60s right now and the weekend looks like it's going to shape up to be low 70s. Going to go out downtown tonight can't wait.
