How much for this gallery deal?
 

posted this same question on AWI, but I need as much advices as possible:
I have a client that wants me to host his gallery (he made it), post it on my topspot, and submit it to niche TGPs where I'm regular (that's about 20-25 TGPs) ....

how much does a topspot ussualy cost on 80-90k niche TGP? .... how much would you charge for that deal? ... also, how much would you charge if the gallery was not on my, but on his own host?

please help me on this one, never did anything like that... |bow|

Well 80-90K is a big site but it depends too if you'll be skimming from his link and how much actual traffic he'll get.

If he was submitting it, I've seen prices in the $10-$40 range per gallery unless you get into the high profile sites on sextracker.

ok, thanx, but that is only part of the deal...

ps. when my site was aroun 30k I sold that spot for $35 for 2 days couple of times... it has no skimming there...

That seems a little cheesy, with you hosting it, linking to it & submitting it - I'd charge him an arm & a leg :)

When he says no, spend 15 min making your own gallery & then you keep all the profits :D

No skimming and productive traffic is why high traffic sites charge $100+ for gallery spots. Good traffic is worth the fee and it sounds like yours is good.

It's $10-$25 to build a gallery template for someone. It's at least $10 to submit it (many services charge $20 to submit to 50-100 sites) then you have the hosting. And if you have been able to charge $35 before then that should give you a guideline to go by.

I know your site and use to submit to you before you changed it to the new concept and you did send lots of traffic. Gonna take submits again soon? LOL

greenie - yeah, I know waht you mean... but it's my idea to host that gallery couse I DON'T want them to chenge the gally once it get liste and get myself banned on those TGPs ...that's the price they can't pay!

ramster - tahnx for the numbers! ... i'm glad you liked my traffic (allways feel nice to hear things like that) ... but, I'm afraid I don't have any plans receiving submission anytime soon.... sorry! :(

boobster - I never thought of that aspect of it - good idea :)

I actually tossed around the idea maybe 6 months ago of offering a submit service. And the only way I would consider it is if I was hosting the galleries. Same reasons as you stated Boobster.

There's actually a service that claims to hand submit a gallery a day for 30 days, host it and charge $300. I tried it and the galleries are still there but the average hits per day was about 7k unless they got listed at 1 of 2 large sites.

I think they hand submitted to 2 sites and then auto submitted the rest :(

someone told me at AWI that I should charge $1 per k of traffic to that gally.... since that gally will be gettin traffic for a long time, don't know how to count all that...

so, to finish all this episode - is $100 too much for building a gally, hosting it, putting on topspot of my TGP, and submiting it to other TGPs? ...should I charge less? more? how much?

Booster, what does the client do in the process? Just pay you $100? You are doing all the work! Why not take Greenguy's advice and keep it all for yourself?

It's just a part of business. You make money from A, B and C and now this is D. Another $100 (guaranteed) a day in your pocket on top of your regular income if you have the time to do it.

Ramster, I agreed that the guaranteed amount is worth something.

you submit gallery? $15
and then how much traffic will the gallery receive?
you said 100k, then I say charge 0,5-1$ per K
so atleast $80......at most $130 :-)
