Sparky, has something changed on this board?

Since last night I can not use quotes around a word, every time I try I get message too short, must be at least 1 character long.

Greenie also tried to post my post for me and he got the same error (as he said on the radio show last night) but this thread will not allow me to use quotes at all, even though Bill has.

We have been looking at that Torn. Is it only when you copy and paste or when you "type" as well?

Torn Rose 2007-03-14 02:38 PM

type as well, my last post to that thread I typed it all in here thinking it was a issue from pasting.

Maybe a combination of quotes and ( ) ???? I used both in the post's.

Greenie forwarded the post that you had done which had the typographic quotes. Also, Cleo had a problem with the typographic ... being entered.

I've filed a bug report with Vbulletin, they've given me a list of things to try which I will do later at night when there are fewer people on the board. The problem appears related to the newer version of php which must treat those characters differently. The differences in php 5.1 and php 5.2 really shouldn't have made a difference as far as I can see, however.... :)

Cool, just nice to hear it's not just me.

I tried to paste from word perfect to the board and got the "message too short, must be at least 1 character long."

So if I'm misspelling it's not my fault|huh

temporarily fixed until I can dig into it later.

“These” instead of "these"

Isn't upgrades fun…
