I do not know if this is even fundamentally possible but does anyone know if there is a LL script that can run/update categories on different domains?

It is possible, using php includes on your other domains. What I mean is you can have you script spit out your results on the domain it is installed on and then pull those results via php calls to your other domains. ;)

There are TGP scripts that you could mod to do the trick I think...

I've got a custom written script for managing mutliple linklists across multiple domains... Althought after re-reading your post, perhaps you just want one linklist split across domains. It can do that too, but might be overkill. Let me know if you'd like more info...
