365billing Lost Merchant Account ?

Im hearing a lot of rumors. Got several ICQ messages and there is even a post on the Zoo saying this is true.

Can anyone else confirm?

Not like this is a surprise or anything to me. Ive only had several threads pinned about it for months and even posted about losing the ACH processing last month.

If this is true I know a few programs that I hope just have them in the cascade and not as a primary processor.

I know one big old time program posted that they used them as a primary processor.

If so . . Id be evaluating pulling some links.

I heard the same thing Gonzo and it was confirmed by them. But, they are still processing sales for now. I would think they are searching for a new account right now but, this has been coming for months.

Processing sales without a merchant account in hopes of batching with a new account.

That transaltes to they are giving away access to your site with an unconfirmed credit card number. Down south if you dont pay for what you take or give away we call that stealing.

As affiliates Id be worried about getting paid on a sale that your sponsor never got paid for.

I heard a few days ago that they were losing their US merchant account but this is not entirely the truth. Yes they are not processing transactions at a US bank at the moment. They've been working on a new US account for the last 6 months. I believe they are sending the transactions through their EU solution for now while they finish up integration with the new US bank.

Are they the only processor in the ARS cascade?
I think Visa has a term for this too. US companies using an EU solution as a processor.

That's exactly what I was told, Becky.
Except the part about finishing up intregration to a new US bank.

Thanks

ARS processes with the 365 EU solution, so it doesn't even affect me. I'm done with US processing LOL. But, no they are not the only processor in the cascade. I should add that they aren't even at primary right now.

Actually - they have just released a statement at another board:

"Due to changes with the 365Billing US merchant relationship, the business decision has been made to discontinue our 365Billing US IPSP business ONLY"

365 Billing

I want to just clarify the misconceptions that 365BillingUS 'LOST' or got the account 'SHUT DOWN'....

*** 365Billing US Statement ***
Due to changes with the 365Billing US merchant relationship, the business decision has been made to discontinue our 365Billing US IPSP business ONLY.

***This does not affect our EU 365Billing IPSP (3rd Party Billing) business in any way.***

Over the past year, our focus has been more on obtaining direct merchant accounts for our US clients, rather than a US based 3rd Party solution. With our clients utilizing their own Merchant Accounts, they have more control over their business, and all the benefits they receive from 3rd Party Billing, i.e.. Fraud control, Velocity Checks, Customer Service, and more. The current trend of webmasters wanting their Merchant Accounts has increased significantly. We will continue these efforts to provide our clients with the best processing solutions possible.

Jeff Foster, CEO of 365Billing US, will be handling the money and the payouts for all US based 365 Clients. Each US Client has been, or will be contacted individually, but please feel free to contact us direct at 954.379.1200 anytime.

I can tell you right now we are NOT processing or authorizing any sales on the 365Billing US account...the account has been closed and we are making the necessary arrangements to work with our clients...
