I have been trying to make part of my income from Domain Names.
Due to a cash crisis I'm about to use eBay to auction off my best names. The absolute best I have is T1TS.COM.

Having looked hard at eBay and domain name auctions, you see one or two names sell for crazy high prices and lots of domains sell for crazy low prizes. Getting those 2 or more people within the 10 days of the auction who are prepared to bid is an art, but I'm not sure that I know what the art is.

It could sell for $1 or for 1 million. Sex.com sold for 24 million.

I'm trying very hard with a slightly different approach. I've made a webpage of T1TS.COM with what I believe is both sensational (or is that sexsational) and fun. This webpage will go on eBay and I am hoping that people will look at it and be so impressed or whatever that they show it to other people etc.

Not sure whether I have achieved it. Love to get comments on both the methodology and whether I have achieved it.

Man, its hard work researching T1TS. We all have to do something to make a living!!

Good luck with it, but your comparing two different things.

Sex.com sold for a huge amount, not s3x.com. It looks cool, but it's not the actual word so i don't think you'll get alot more than what a regular domain name costs. I don't think people looking for tits will type in t1ts.

I am the first to say i know nothing of selling domains, or much of anything for that matter, but i don't see that domain name being any kind of real payday for you.

I really hope i'm wrong and you get a shitload of money for it though. best luck |thumb

You would be right if the main reason they came to your site was that they typed the word.

If, on they other hand, the main reason they came to the site was that it was a great site.... people telling other people about the site etc ...
or a lot of money was spent on promotion. then the more unique it is the better it is.
Coca cola means nothing but we remember it.
T1TS is short and easy. Easily remembered you can tell someone on the phone within a couple of seconds. It is typed with just the letters under the left hand.
You can turn it into a coca cola and own it because of the 1 yet at the same time it yells sex or tits such that those interested will want to have a look. Best of both worlds.
Anyway, that is what I hope the buyers will see. Not everyone understands that.

Nice domain name but it isn't worth anything. Selling a domain has 2 things mainly. Does it get type-ins? No? Ok is there any traffic to it now? No? Then it is worthless. No traffic and no potential type-ins. The only other thing might be with a paysite that has a design and tons of content.

Potential is not something of value in most cases and I disagree that talking to someone on the phone and telling them hey man I saw this site tits.com but it is spelled T1TS.com is going to do anything,. Right now T1TS.com has nothing to offer though it does look like you put an effort into making it. Sorry but it is reality in this case I think.

Do you also own m0r0n.com?

I'm sure someone here will buy it, after all it has T1 in the name.

Dont really see this as a typo domain. If you look at the keyboard the #1 is no where near the letter t i t s. If anythig it should be t8ts.com
