Heavy Thumbs???

I'm just getting back into the business and I've completed one freesite but before I submit, I used on of the link list checkers to check my site (I forget which one). It sent back an error that my thumbs were to heavy. I used a template that I developed about 9 years ago so I realize that it's a little dated. The thumbs in the gallery are 150 pixels on the longest side. What is the standard these days?

150 px should be fine what is the weight in kb? I usually run around 5-6 kb per thumb

Yea, I see what is is now, the kb is around 10-12, thanks for the heads up. |thumb I forgot all about bandwidth. Does anybody know of a good image compression program to run batches?

If I understand you correctly, you are looking for something like this - Easy Thumbnails http://www.fookes.com/ezthumbs/index.php

Thanks Samoseks.
