Video on free sites
 

So was doing some reading from some popular LL's and some mention that they rank sites higher if they have pics and vids.

Question 1 - Is it going to make a huge difference in acceptance and possible signups to sponsors?

Question 2 - How much more bandwidth will it burn by including vids in some free sites?

In my experience using movies has zero effect on getting listed anywhere. Sign ups do seem to be a bit better from the gallery pages than with using pics.
Bandwidth will be totally dependant on who you submit to and what niche(s) you are pushing. Plan on at least a couple hundred extra gig a month if you are going to use mostly vids and just keep an eye on things depending on how much bandwidth you have available.

movies will cost a lot more for sure LOL

I never burned more than 150 gigs in one month with free sites only (containing movies, that is). I'm not submiting daily, though.

But I submit galleries to thehun also, and when it lists me, I burn almost 200 gigs in the first day, about 100 in the second and 50 gigs in the third day.

Something you might want to think about doing is maybe putting embedded you tube style trailors on your free site. It is just a suggestion, but I'm still pretty new to the scene.
