custom banner question
 

I've made some custom banners :)

Are these kind of banners acceptable ? I've tried to modify those pics so they don't look like thumbs!

You, as a site builder, will probably create more effective banners than the same old things the outsourcers force out.

A couple of notes though - since your target audience is largely American, put the $ on the left of the price. 1$ should be $1. Also, 'HQ' means a lot more to we webmasters than it does to surfers. Go ahead and use the full High Quality if there is room for it.

Well I've seen rules like : no tricky banners looking like thumbs and I asked just to be sure :)

I don't think they look like thumbs the way you have them there, other than those little changes UW mentioned, I think it's a pretty good banner :)

Looks good to me. I wouldn't think those pictures are thumbs. :)
