Better quality traffic
 

Just curious to which can usually deliver better quality converting traffic, TGP/MGP's or Free Sites?

I realize that alot of it depends on where the traffic is coming from, but i've heard both sides say the same thing that one is better than the other.

What I`ve experienced so far is Link List traffic is better converting than tgp gallery traffic and for sure it burns lower bandwith then galleries, but it all depends on filtering traffic by niches or something similar. I`ve just read it somewhere :)
I am submitting free sites and galleries at the moment, but the fact is I am paying the bandwith that the galleries burn from the free sites sales :)

Typically, Free Sites convert better than Galleries, but the traffic is lower (so the sales are probably more from Galleries)

Free Sites are better long term IMO, galleries are for the quick sales. But yea Link List traffic converts better than tgp/mgp traffic for sure

what greenie said. You get much more traffic from galleries, but it converts worse + smaller click through to sponsor sites

So many factors. The short of things though is that generally freesites convert on average a lot better.

Right now I am making about the same off around 15-20k/day of free site link list traffic that I was making on 80-100k/day of gallery traffic. Back when I was doing galleries fulltime it took around 3-4 months for it to hit its peak. I've been doing free sites for a year and 3-4 months and I am still seeing steady consistent growth. While I quit doing galleries because not only did they stop growing, the traffic started drying up due to all the TGPs that went from listing posted galleries to mainly FHGs, or going to paid submits that I felt were not even close to being worth it.

As far as which one converts better depends on how you look at it. I actually converted better on gallery traffic for alot of sites as far as clicks to sponsors go. But the ctr (click thru rate) on galleries was maybe anywhere from 2%-6%. Some of my free sites are getting ctr's of better than 15-20%. I guess the bottom line is it takes a whole lot less free site traffic to make the same as you would make with tgp traffic. But then again, like I said before its taken me almost a year and a half to get to the same point $$$ wise with free sites as it took me 4 months to get to with galleries. BUT (hahaha, lots of BUTS) for me anyways galleries were dying off pretty quickly and I didnt see much of a future, I probably couldnt even make much at all these days if I were to go back to galleries.
