What is a hard link exchange?
 

I've got another newbie question that almost everybody knows, but unfortunately I don't.
What exactly is a hard link exchange or trade and how is it different from just submitting your freesites and putting up a recip? |huh

That's when you put on your main page link to someones main page and he does the same thing.Thats the reciprocal too. If im wrong someone correct me.

Lesa - you're partially correct - it's a link that goes right to the site/domain & not thru a script of some sort that redirects the surfer to the site/domain after it does whatever the script is supposed to do (like a click counting script)

first i have to say it's better not to admit to automatic link generators.

and linkexchange is usefull for your page ranking bij google, yahoo etc.

Who said anything about automatic link generators?
