INHERITED LL NEEDS HELP!

Hi Everyone!

I have been running small amateur foot and leg fetish sites with relatively decent financial success for about 5 years, and I inherited www.jackoffmaterial.com about 6 months ago! It was a large link site run on in-link software. It is starting to fall apart as far as a traffic producer, and I am looking for some advice. Is there better cheap or free software for running a site than in-link? I have not run an update in a week or so due to a database problem, so I am looking for options!

A couple of us do it by hand, thats as cheap as it gets :)
Course if your getting dozens of submits you might want a script.

Search the thread for link list script. There are alot of threads which show benefits from several including link organizer, link admin, dragon list, gossamer threads and more and giving prices.

Good luck.

If the site is failing as a traffic producer I doubt that the script is to blame. I'm not familiar with In-Link but from a quick glance at their website it looks like a pretty full-featured script. I see their latest version also supports SE friendly URLs, so you might want to upgrade if that's not an option with your current install.

Seriously, I think you have a pretty unique looking LL and with a little TLC I'm sure you could revive it. While there are many good scripts out there, migrating everything to a new installation and setting everything up with design etc. might be a bigger hassle than you want to deal with.

As Lemmy says, look at the SE-friendly options.

And a site-map (a table with links to everything) on each page could help.

Nice-looking site.

Thanks for the Feedback!

I will attempt to apply a little more TLC, and I will go into the functions to see what I can add, play with, or upgrade. I think the maps ect for each page is probably a real good idea. Again, Thanks for the help everyone!
