Internet Spyware Prevention Act
Well, we will have to see where this goes.
A U.S. House of Representatives subcommittee on Tuesday once again approved a bill that proposes up to five years in prison for malicious spyware-related activities. Reps. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) and Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) reintroduced the measure, known as the Internet Spyware Prevention Act, or I-Spy for short, in mid-March. Rather than attempting to define what illicit software is, the bill would make it a crime to copy computer code on a machine without authorization if doing so divulges "personal information" about a user or "impairs" a computer's security. Violators would face up to five years in prison. http://news.com.com/House+tries+agai...l?tag=nefd.top |

thats good news except how about the countries that dont go along with this new law
this is a step in the right direction, and may benifit us in the long run the porn spam has grinded almost down to a halt from the spam laws that are in place now and the examples have been made, I can remember a few well know programs that got hit pretty hard and maybe more programs will be more picky in who that have for affiliates I know it a dream but if most of the programs can weed out the crooks and keep them out then I see more money for us also |
