In March a bunch of webmasters from the UK got together, we are doing this a lot more now and it is proving really good for everyone and often very productive.

For anyone interested I the guy clutching the grey pants/shorts we a storming time and drunk shed loads of beer as us English do..

This event was not sponsored I did how scrounge anough googies from firms in the UK and from the US to put togther bag of goodies that of course had a can of beer in!

Anyhow hopefully I will get another set up for late summer will prob be in Leeds again :)

I haven't seen Janey for a few years and she seems to keep a lower profile than in the past. Nice to see she's still around.

Over the past few months I Janey launched a site with her own movies, nothing new I hear you saying though its the first time they have opened it up to affiliates after much pressure from the WM's in the UK.

Its been going well as she is quite a well known name over here shooting fame by appearing on TV with TAC.

No offence but do you have to embarrass the UK by displaying Leeds of all places?

Not short of being medieval, Leeds was once used in a computer simulation of a nuclear attack.

Final statistics showed 15 quids worth of damage.

no offence taken, Leeds is also one of the most central palces, we also meet there as there are a lot of guys from Yorkshire.

I don't live in leeds, anymore, you clearly dont live there either

I live in the tropical south.

I suppose any meets are regional as most of the ones i've heard of are in london.
My car isn't bulletproof so i'd tend to stay away from those.

Moved down here from Wales just over 10 years now.
I was also impressed by the glamorous location of this meet.
Nice pics though. Looks like a typical Brit version of a good time.

Brighton area isn't too bad depsite it's gay reputation.

The south coast is great in the summer.

Just one downside to brighton is Jordan and Peter live there. |jester|

A lot more happened then just beer, though I have to say I avoided the upstairs after party :)

Overall was very good we will be doing it again soon this time we hope to discuss the UK VAT laws in more detail as this seems to be the burning issue amongst the UK programmes.

It's not an area I know anything about other then UK subscriptions now need to billed VAT on top of the sale / within the sale...... |confused|

We had quite a few people from the south there too, Leeds is dead easy to get to and this was the second time at the hotel and the staff there now know what we all do and seem to enjoy the colourful evenings oh the amount we spend at the bar ;)

I suppose many more go on around the country, this year I know there has been one in London, Haistings, Leeds & Manchester. Personally speaking I find Leeds an easy place to do it, means we can use cars to collect people and some even fly into LB Airport.

Next time I know some people from Holland will be coming over too as its about 50 mins flight with the hotel being just 20 mins in a car from the LB Airport.
