Microsoft announced pre-release of it's silverlight technology intended for interactive web pages including embedded video and dynamic menus.

Everything they do turns into proprietary bloated crap. They probably see that people are getting away from their windows media player plugins and want to try to stop it and control that market too.

I hope it does not kill flash.
