Tue Tue Tuesday The 20th!
 

We had warnigns flashing across the TV screen all last night about all the snow we were going to get while we slept. I think we got enough snow to cover up all the brown salty snow on the streets but not much more.

I have to run out with my bride to take care of some legal stuff this morning (her ex is a fucking retard) but I'll be back around here later today :)

Yesterday turned into a fucking daymare for me. I had agreed to see clients on the west side of town, it's always a bitch doing east west comminutes where I live, and didn't realize that many streets would be closed for MLK parades. Then more work kept on coming in and of course they all needed me yesterday. Did I mention that I hate Mondays? LOL

Hmmm, I had to put on the A/C before I went to bed and had to turn on the heat this morning. :D

It's 14°F (-10°C) lovely degrees here as I type. I went out yesterday and hacked everywhere I went. I wonder if they realized that I had this cold? Anyway all I have left is this cough. :)

I just hired a new housekeeper/cook last week she started yesterday. This morning (she comes in from 6-10) she made me ham and eggs with homemade biscuits. :)

I like working and then getting called to eat. Nothing worse than forgetting to eat or just munching on crap. |sad|

I messed up my laptop last night..
Sitting on the couch doing reviews..the damned thing fell down, and pushed the wireless pcmcia card way back in the slot..I had to dig it out and half of the pcmcia slot came with it..It works fine except for that..
Laptops are a bitch to fix..so I called a few places to get an idea..one guy said if it's the mobo, $800 to $1,000..WHAT?? I said that;s not an $800 job..(I used to work on toshiba laptops in the army)He said lady do you know what a motherboard is..? so that pushes my buttons and I played dumb broad and said no, hun..what;s that? He said it's the guts of the machine..ya gotta unplug wires and all kindsa stuff to get it out, etc, etc..By this point I said yeah, and that whole thing should take no more than half an hour. He said no lady, it takes at least 2 hours. I said yeah if ya futz around an are not really sure of what you're doing and hung up..My fault for asking..

Anyway, my bf has pneumonia so when he gets better, we will take it apart and see what's up..

Oh Good, new e-mail worm expected to hit this week. :(

It's almost 6pm here and - 15 C outside (+ 5 F). I play old Black Sabbath albums and read boards. My wife's in business trip and comes back at Thursday, so I slept till noon and haven't had much to do today. Well, that's OK...if I don't do it every day.

It's time to find something to eat...

Like most other viruses:

If someone is stupid enough to execute an attachment within e-mail they pretty much deserve to get a virus- and be educated.

Never underestimate the stupidity of the average computer user. :D

Well its not bad here , no snow , but cold as fuck. Gotta have lunch and I hate to go to KFC, but gotta, its "Twooney" Tuesday |bananna|

I think if people have someone in the family that can fix their PC's they tend to be more careless.
