Johnny Rotten goes to Queensland

In the UK we have a reality TV show called "I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here". In which celebs go into the jungle (Queensland, Australia) and survive with minimal rations, have bush tucker challenges and other stuff. It starts next week!

But I am so fuckin' happy that they have chosen Johnny Rotten to go. :D

Especially since he is slightly anti-royalist and they have ALSO got the BBC Royal Correspondent Jennie Bond. Added to that there is Lord Brocket (a bit of a toff).

But it doesn't end there... Jordan is on the show who's chest is reported to be 32FF and also Kerry Mcfadden who is a rather busty girl too.

Other celebs include Neil Ruddock, Diane Modahl, Peter Andre and Alex Best.

I cannot wait to see how Johnny Rotten deals with these people alone in the jungle. :D

Mike Read is going to be on it too! That's the former BBC Radio 1 DJ who banned "Relax" by Frankie Goes To Hollywood... Johnny's gonna love him!

Oh man - I hope they show the episodes over here - I am a huge Rotten/Lydon fan :)

I'll keep ya posted on events. |greenguy|

Did anyone see the Judge Judy episode where a drummer, who pulled out of a PIL tour, was trying to get money back for his drum kit, which John took on the tour without his permission, because they didn't wanna unload the tour equipment?

Greenguy 2004-01-20 11:05 AM

I missed the episode, but I did see some clips on it & I can never seem to find it in reruns :(

The drum kit was loaded onto a plane and was on it's way to the first city, when the drummer decides to pull out of the tour. So when Johnny refuses to pay for the return of the drum kit and tells him to wait until the tour comes back to his city, he gets upset because he can't work without his kit.

Johnny won the case, despite giving Judge Judy a whole lot of grief, on the grounds that the drummer broke his contract by pulling out of the tour.

At least, that's how I remember the case.

It's on Sky ITV1 digital and we also have extended live coverage (16 hours per day??) on Sky ITV2 digital.

I hope you get to see it. :)

Extend live coverage?!?!?! We didn't get that when they did it over here - that sounds like it'd be a good thing to have on in the background when you're working :)

British TV is pretty good at the moment IMO.

Here's the latest from the BBC http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/3412619.stm

It should be the bollocks especiallly the rivalry between Johnny Rotten and Jenny Bond and £20 says that Jordan does exactly what Daniella Westbrook did last time, and I know that I for one will have the live coverage on in the background while working.

Speaking of working how long is taking to install ICQ? I'll probably be in the U.K. before you get around to it. |goodnight
