New here ! Hi everybody + question

Hi,

I'm new in here and want to ask directly a question :

I have a website (TGP) with 600-800 unique visitors a day but I want to raise that number to 1.5-2k a day.

What should I do?

- Buy traffic but whitch one?
- Buy links on big sites ?
- invest in unique content ?

Thing is after I have made the investment I would like to see that my visitors stay 1.5-2k a day

Otherwise I just could stay buying traffic

All suggestions are welcome I would start with an investment of 100$ and if I see any results I would invest more.

BTW it's for a Dutch TGP

Thx in advance guys

I've moved this over to the TGP area of the board, so that should get you some better replies :)

I know the 1st thing people will ask is what's the URL of your site? Kinda hard to give advice without looking at the site :)

Hi teleblade |waves| welcome to the board :)

The best way to grow your traffic quickly, at no cost, would be with some good hard link trades. Other than that it's like any business, you wait. In the case of a tgp the SE's will pick up your cats if you do them right then you will have good traffic. Plus you need patience for your bookmarkers to grow your site also.

There is no over night fix in this biz anymore. It has more to do with luck, being in the right place at the right time.

Hi, Teleblade, and welcome to the board.
I had to click "no" to about 5 active x prompts, then shut down the pop up and finally I was ready to look at the site.

I notice you have your skim set to 50%. While that may send out more clicks to your trading partners, it's likely the traffic you send will not be all that productive. And it certainly won't help on building bookmarkers. There's a reason that skimming only 25-30% is the standard, so you may want to give that a shot.

I also have a hybrid tgp, ie, a mix of thumbs and text. And I found that by having the thumbs at the top and the text links below, I greatly increased the number of clicks per surfer.

Best of luck to ya!

Nah, not an error, Teleblade. I have my active x set on "prompt" to avoid auto installations, and had to click the "no" button 4 or 5 times. I'm using IE 5.
Anyway, if I'm the only one that noticed it, probably nuthin to worry about.

no autosialers on my site check your PC for spyware with adaware

Thx

Nope, wasn't insinuating you were using a dialer, bud. Tell ya what, just ignore that part of my original post since I'm obviously not explaining it correctly. :)

teleblade 2004-01-22 03:04 AM

Oh it's a site for dutch and belgian people and there they use much more dialers than CC
