It's just like a commercial on TV, no one wants the show interrupted but hey what can ya do, at least you can try to opt out, shit with TV you cant Opt Out.
Has me thinking we havent spammed in like 2 years now, maybe we should start again... Hehehehe... |
So does this Can Spam law has any effect at all?

As far as being able to opt out that is a nice idea. But hardly any of the spam I get has a working way to do it.|sad| |

I hate the spam too - but then Ive been getting paper spam in my mailbox for 40 years and I havent seen anyone bitch about that - sounds like a fad trend to complain instead of just blocking it with one of the free tools out there - and I sure dont know of a way to block the shit in the mailbox outside everyday
As far as a pay sponsor spamming - might take a look at some of their terms and conditions - some of them say pretty explicitly they Will do it - the others that dont just dont get my business |
I talked to my postmaster a couple of years ago about stopping unsolicited mail. He told me they pay for it so the Post Office had to deliver it. Pretty sad commentary on their part. |sad|

I would never send anything unsolicited!

Although it may be of little help, I have found something that makes me feel a little better when it comes to unsolicited snail mail.
A lot of the time they send self addressed stamped envelopes (which they have already paid for but doesn't get charged until it goes thru the system) therefore after removing all my address info, I cram a bunch of other junk mail from other companies into the envelope and ship it off to em. If everyone did this, and they actually had to pay the postage they may think twice about sending unsolicited self addressed stamped envelopes out. Just my way of relieving a bit of stress :-) Norad |
