Reminder Calender Program?

Can anyone recommend a good reminder/calender program? Something I can use to remind me to pay taxes on April, June, Sept, Jan 15th, start a new "welcome" thread on the 1st of the month, The Bitch's birthday, etc.

I use the Mac's iCal but this looks real nice, Google Calendar.

I am using MS Outlook, the calender option. Works well for me.
Do you want a program you have to install or a website like Google Calender?

I use Google Calendar and it just sends me email reminders and it seems to work great.

I use google's calendar program. Been working out great. For really important stuff I set it up to send a txt msg to my phone. Like how I can just log in anywhere into my google account and see my calendar. Has come in handy a couple times.

Cheers,
B

Another cool thing about Google Calender is that you can share it with people so they are also aware of your schedule.

This would be for when you want your employees to know exactly when they need their shit done by and you can tell by their calender that they've just booked a week of masturbating and have no reason to be late on said project. :D

I do the same thing with iCal and I also have it send me email for somethings.

You can also share iCal with others. I would also use Google Calendar if it was sharable with iCal and really wish the two worked with each other.

Thanks for all the tips - I think I'm gonna be a slave to Google & try out their calender :)

It's coming very soon for the mac. Heres' the beta software in development at the moment. Actually just visited and looks like it's out of beta.

I've found that my 5 year long to-do list is much more manageable when scribbled on hundreds of scraps of paper.

Nice! |bananna| |thumb |headbang|

Rumor has it that Google is working very close with Apple and all the Google apps are going to be running on the iPhone.

I've played around with Google apps and I can see where I will start using them instead of Excel and Word very soon. Especially if I can access all my spread sheets from any computer or my iPhone.

Just this week Google updated their maps to show traffic and street level views in some areas.

Don't you need to buy some fruit in order to use iCal?

No, just a real computer.

tsanko 2007-05-30 03:33 PM

I use my PocketPC for reminder.

Looks as though apple and google made their first move with bringing youtube to appletv.
