My original medical problem is solved :)
Over a month ago, I think, I went to see my doctor for a sore throat that lasted a few months. As most know from my previous post, I went in with a sore throat and came out with high blood pressure and high cholesterol. But, nobody could tell me why I still had a sore throat.
If you check webmd or other medical sites for sore throats that last months, no answer is good. And I admit, my wife and children were worried. So yesterday I saw a ear, nose and throat doctor. He stuck a scope up my nose and down my throat. It ends up being nothing more than acid reflux :) WooHoo :) |
Great news Jim :D although acid reflux can be a bitch. Nexium works for me though.
Glad to hear the lingering sore throat wasn't anything serious.
Not sure what they put you on to lower the BP and cholestoerol, but the roomie is on Caduet. It's a single med that has both Norvasc and Lipitor. Since it's one med instead of two, he only pays a single co-pay when he gets the script refilled. |
Good to hear that Jim ;)
I am taking priloec for acid reflux, benicar for high blood pressure and lipitor for cholesterol :) I hate taking pills every day but my blood pressure was 122 over 80 yesterday and I don't have throat cancer :)
Thats good news... good luck with the pills!
Right On Jim, both of my parents and one grandparent had throat cancer, I was worried about you too |cheers|
Thanks guys... :)
Thats sure is good news Jim :)

Well I have to say when I read your post yesterday about your sore throat I was concerned. So glad it all came out alright |thumb Way to go on the blood pressure also!
well that must be a relief! It's pretty scary thinking you might have something serious. sounds silly I know, but congratulations on your acid reflux Jim :)
Great news Jim!
I figured out a long time ago that my medical problems were beyond hope... oh wait, we aren't talking about mental issues.
I too, just as both my parents, suffer with acid reflux. I just eat a lot of antiacid, Tums or Rolaids, tablets. |
Very good news jim:)
