Sopranos

Great show tonight... That is all I will say until tomorrow.

LOVED IT!

SexxxySadie 2007-06-10 10:45 PM

Hated the ending. I feel tricked and cheated.
But maybe that is just me.

Cleo 2007-06-10 11:22 PM

WTF |shocking|

docholly 2007-06-11 12:54 AM

Typical of the whole season.. Not really what I was expecting but I'm happy. :D

Jim 2007-06-11 07:15 AM

A perfect ending

spookyx 2007-06-11 07:48 AM

I liked it a lot :D

Greenguy 2007-06-11 08:57 AM

I just wish they went right to the credits instead of making me think there was something wrong with my TV :D

But I liked the ending |thumb

I thought the same thing. I quickly changed the channel to the non-HD HBO. :)

I almost did the same thing (it wouldn't be the 1st time an HD channel took a shit during a show)

Cleo 2007-06-11 09:03 AM

The head crushing whack with the kid puking was kind of special.

Watched it live and I also thought my TV had fucked up at the end.

Ramster 2007-06-11 09:13 AM

I too switched to a non HD channel.

Liked the ending...liked the show...thought the ending could have had more "closure" but overall it was good and simple.

Torn Rose 2007-06-11 09:14 AM

Yep, we was watching it on DVR about 10 mins behind the live showing, we died laughing on Phil, and said the exact same thing as the crowd at the gas station, as I'm sure 10 million others across the nation did as well.

Who was the guy that got him? Was he one of Phil’s crew?

When we watch a show on the DVR that is still live, it has been know to "shut off" when the live show ends reocrding, so we thought that's what it was, so we had to play it again....

Classic and very unique ending, the shows way of saying
"You never know what to expect, and if you think you know... we will prove you wrong!"

LOVED IT!

Greenguy 2007-06-11 09:27 AM

I heard that Tony once said something along the lines of "you never see a hit coming, just the darkness"

And of course there's the movie angle....

SirMoby 2007-06-11 10:53 AM

Phil never saw it coming but the rest of them did. I was kind of disappointed because while I think they're making a strong statement with the ending I also think that they need to wrap things up. It's not the end of a season. It's the end of a series.

But I think GG is right. It's about the movie now.

I also heard a rumor that the real ending will be on the DVD when released.

Chase shot 3 alternate endings in case one was leaked.

Torn Rose 2007-06-11 12:22 PM

Yeah I heard about the 3 endings as well, but I think this was the real ending and I don't see the idea of making a movie when they had no limits on what they could do and say and show on HBO, so why pay everyone 10 times more to make a movie when they could have just done more shows.

But that is just MHO.

I think THAT is exactly it.

It was dark for soooooooooooo long because he got whacked, period. He looked up at his daughter coming in the door but got it from behind from that the guy that went in the bathroom.

|huh

I think it seems like easy box office money that would bring in 100s of millions.

None of the cast seems destined for a huge career so you could get them cheap or for a percentage of the box office. The only person that you really have to have is James Gandolfini and they just killed off a lot of other players so they could introduce a bunch of new faces.

The cost of doing a Sopranos movie would be cheap. No special effects, no expensive settings and no huge stars.

Easy money by Hollywood standards.

Torn Rose 2007-06-11 01:12 PM

I still say no movie.

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think it will happen, 7 years is a long time to do the same thing over and over.

Jim 2007-06-11 01:40 PM

As much of a chance of a Sopranos movie and there is of Deadwood.

How about a weird Back To The Future angle where we combine the 2?
