so many link lists...

I see so many link lists to submit to...

What's the best way to narrow it down to approx. 60 that will bring in decent traffic other than trial and error (looking at stats and such).

I've just been submitting to any lists that I see. Are there any tips on narrowing it down?

well, what you are doing is prolly the best way, but we watch all the linklists listed at http://submitool.com to make sure they send good traffic and if they change their rules and such for you. there are about 80 linklists on it so that might be a good alternate if you dont want to go the trial and error route :)

You have to remember also that not all link sites have the same categories & some link sites are category specific.

Such a list probably does not exist & if it does, it's flawed :)

very good point green guy - we had quite a delema, for instance, when everyone started going to niche specific recips (we used to provide the recip table for the webmaster till mrmarylou clued us in not to do that LOL)

its important that if you do use any kind of submission helper site like mine you read all the rules of each linklist - i am not perfect and while i (and nat) catch most rule canges and update the list accordingly there are times when rule changes and such slip through the cracks.

just like with any tool - it can be dangerous if not used properly. :)

I do things different, I never look at home many hits a LL will send in total, for me the number of hits is no where near as important as where that LL gets its traffic from.

Say I had a big tit site and I wanted to find good LL's.

1. I have a usualy group of 6 LL I always use.
2. Hit google and do a few searches to see what LL's are listed for related keywords and submit to those.

Thats just something to think about, try looking at quality not quantity.

Sickkittens you can submit to my link list that is in the building stage i cant promise a whole lot of traffic but when it matures you would have a nice home to go to

when you submit to certain places they get to know and trust people
