I thought I was doing really well with them, but they thought otherwise :D

there's another thread around here that doesn't mention any names - put 2 & 2 together & you get 4 :)

... and their "other" program just cut their payouts.:(

I pulled thier links recently as well...
And for much different reasons.

Seems I can never get into the members area, and when I could I would click to view my stats and be redirected to yet another login page, where again, I could not login.

And contacting support over the issue brought even more frustration, so I said oooooh well!

and that's it... never looked back.

Yes our "other" program cut payouts. It's not the first time that anyone has done this. Besides he is asking about GT where the payouts are $35 - $40.

GreenGuy, yes you thought you were doing well with us, however, your traffic was not converting over to full membership...We thought that rev-share was naturally the best solution for this. I think that we can both agree that is only logical. I also believe that at one point in time you agreed with George regarding this matter.

Murderous, we have had some updating going on here and there. Perhaps it was just bad luck on your part when you tried to log in. Things happen updates happen.

We have a great support staff, I am not sure whom you tried to contact or how. I am online all the time and am always there to help. I am sorry that your experience with us was not the greatest, I suppose there is not much I can do about it now except apologize and find out why you did not receive the help from support you so rightly deserved.

they are golden in my book.. I send them out in my mailer on a weekly basis and have a raito of 1/12 thru 1/20 with them consistant.....

Sherie - I do completely understand your point that I should not be costing you money, but making us both money :)

But, after being told from Porn Profit "There has been a really high amount of credits and chargebacks and not one of the signups have activated to a monthly membership" & then from Guerilla Traffic "There has been a really high amount of credits and chargebacks and far to few of the signups have activated to a monthly membership." it inspired me to write the rant that was in our newsletter as well as the topic of this thread questioning the content of paysites that we promote these days & who's responsibility it is to keep the member recurring once we, the webmaster, got them to your site.

At 1st, having no idea that both programs were related, I was quite shocked to have been forced to do this by 2 programs in a span of 6 days. Seeing as I have been in business since 1996 & this has never happened to me, I started to think about it more & more & the thread above is what became of it.

To be honest, you might of well have just kicked me out, because if, as you say, none of them were converting to monthly & with my high amount of credits & chargebacks, why would I continue to send traffic to the recurring program?

It's not often that we have to switch someone over to revshare or even have to ask them to stop sending their traffic because it is not converting. In this case it's unfortunate that it happened in both programs. I will not take responsabilty for it being our members areas. We have fresh content, we update weekly and we have tons of members that retain.

I am not blaming it on your traffic either, but sometimes these things happen and you can't please everybody all of the time.

In the years that I have been working here, not one of my clients/webmasters has had to be switched over to rev-share.

I agree, you should have been asked to stop sending traffic, however, I had nothing to do with that decision nor the circumstances surrounding it. You were not my account and I was unaware of this issue until this thread.

I will have a chat with the stats manager to ensure that these things don't happen again.

Okay, for anyone that doesnt know already, Greenguys traffic is golden. Type in the most searched adult keywords on almost any search engine and you will see Greenyguys link-o-rama at the top of the list or on the first or second page.

It is for this reason, I blame the sponsorship programs and not greenguy for trials not converting to full memberships.

hmmm let me think about this for 1 minute,

top rated webmaster with hundreds of sites, mega traffic, and such intregity that he posts his stats quarterly for all to see what his conversions are, has been honored yr after yr by sponsors and his peers vs. one program who, for whatever reason isn't able to capture and convert???

The offence is a good defence. OH dayam..that's football, not business... DUH..

Yes Sherie is a great person but that doesnt hav anything to do with Guerilla Traffic, she has been a good person no matter what program she was with. Now on to the point

Guerilla traffic also changed me over to revshare and as greenguy said why in the hell would I continue to send traffic if the trials arent going to convert. I have NEVER had this problem with ANY program..IN 4 YEARS.... Everyone you switched supposedly had poor traffic and you were loosing money, personally I think if GT spent more time developing there established sites you might not have that problem. So for my Opinion of GT...They wont convert..which they admit by switching me and GG to revshare.


Sherie I have much respect for you but GT licks balls, but hey at least they admit it, that should count for somehting right.

I've been promoting them for just a short period of time - not even long enough to see my first check. The number s sem pretty decent.

Threads like this make nervous.
