Another day of some medical appointments today. Hopefully short appointments not like yesterday.

Created a new cocktail yesterday in the bar I hang out a lot and had to test it ofcourse. I feel a little hung over now but that will pass. I hope...

I wish our highs were going to be in the 70's. I'd even settle for the 80's. Hell, 140 wouldn't be bad if we didn't have this damn humidity. But , 90s and equal humidity again.Ah well.

Hard Rock announced that they are opening tomorrow, a week earlier than the 7-7-07 they had planned. They were originally opening on August 29, 2005, but got a lil unexpected visitor named Katrina instead.

I've gotta scoot down the beach and go pick up my tickets to 3 Doors Down on the 5th and Kid Rock on the 7th. I guess I'll pick em up tomorrow during the madhouse of the opening.

Spicy V8 and coffee with biscuits and jelly now served.

I'll take some of that cool too. Supposed to be in the 90s today here, with 60% chance of rain and plenty of humidity in the meantime. Actually, it's supposed to be that way every day for the next week, according to the forecast. RealFeel temps are projected to be between 109 and 111. Good time to be inside; I'll leave the outdoors to the tourists who should start arriving this weekend.

Greenguy and Jim, I have realized that I have completely forgotten my manners and apologize profusely. I am learning so many new things about this business that my mind is just jumbled and |huh I just realized that I haven't specifically said hi and thank you for running such a nice board with such a great community of members. MrYum has a lot of respect for you and all I've ever heard were real good things. Anyway, I apologize for my neglect and complete lack of manners. Jim, hope your appointments go well and easy. Greenie, I'm sure your party will be a blast .. they always are!

I got the attached picture in my email this morning from the divine_drag who bought one of my "big girl" rings. I want to come back in my next life as "her/him"

Otherwise -- i have to go lay in supplies for the next 5 days. Apparently at midnight started the little 5 day period of time that Nevadans are actually allowed to shoot off fire works. I've always thought that fire+drunks+drought=DISASTER. Doesn't help that starting Sunday it will be around 112 daily. However its a dry heat. :D

Im sorta in a pissy mood today... well since yesterday in fact, first off I finally quit smoking (bluebrit quit on Sat Jun 9th) so its my turn now. So far so good, I dont really miss it except when I have my morning coffee.

Yesterday I got a call from the furniture store where we purchased a bedroom set. Was told its coming on thursday so I was excited since we are sleeping in a room with just a bed - then a few hours later we get another call saying the complete set isnt available till Sept!!! wtf! So I told the manager to get a refund ready as I am not prepared to wait till Sept for a bed I purchased in June! (Hate stores that advertise in the paper with great deals and drag you in with promises, only to find out they dont have any items in stock and you have to wait.. I am an impulse buyer and if you dont have it right there for me to take Ill probably not be interested anymore) Now the hard part begins again... finding another set as I live in cottage country there isnt a whole lotta places to shop at for a whole bedroom set, which means we have to drive to the city and pay heaps for delivery when & if we find something we both can agree on. grrrrrr. This is the last room to populate in our new house and im already sick of looking for clothing in boxes - took me ages to find my panties lol!

anyway besides that setback business as usual :D

Weather is wonderful today.. not too hot and BlueBrit suggested we take a boat cruise today... hopefully we can get our butts out of the house and take advantage of the great weather!

Been in hibernation mode here the last couple of days, mostly sleeping. I think the ol' immune system is trying to keep from catching something. So far so good, but I've not been very productive.

I'm still in bed with one of my laptops and Christine. I guess it is kind of a threesome. Actually since two cats are also in bed with is would be a fivesome. :D

Up late last night working so tried to sleep in this morning but first my friend who was in jail for doing stupid shit called me to let me know that she was out and then my neighbor from across the street rang my doorbell asking to borrow some herb.

Today would be a gym day but between having very little sleep and waking up with a bit of a headache going to just stay in and work.

I'm waiting a bit to see what the beta testers (first users) say about it but I'll probably get one very soon.

Mostly I'm less then thrilled about switching to ATT.
