WarningPages.com pop-ups

Just a heads up to those of you using WarningPages as your free site exit link, they are currently using pop-ups. Some reviewers may not be as kind and as forgiving as me, so you may want to reconsider their usefulness.

Thanks for the heads up, it's time to send an email.

Beaver Bob 2007-07-06 08:02 PM

Thanks for the heads up.

I checked out one of my exit links and not only do they have a pop-up, but they have adult content - wtf?

bluebrit 2007-07-08 12:34 PM

I emailed warning pages and Rick told me he would make sure the pop was removed from my links by his programmer first thing monday. I guess that could mean he will take it off everybodies links, but it may be an idea to email warning pages direct to confirm that.

Yep, they're definitely going down hill again.

Guess they can't figure out how to monetize that traffic, without doing something shady with it.

As of right now, warning pages links are re-directing to getcheapdrugs.com |banghead|

I think I'll just stick to no exit links on my free sites. |goodidea

I can live with that - shouldn't pick up an problems with any LL that I submit to?

Linkster 2007-07-24 06:20 AM

Mr Spock - unless the LLs check the links on the exit which most do - then it would be a problem as you cant have redirects on your links

Receptor 2007-08-08 07:55 AM

Whats the status with warningpages atm? Will I get declined on LLs for putting their link on my exit link?

I'm accepting sites which use WarningPages again. As long as there are no pop-ups and they aren't selling porn, I'm fine with them. Just be cautious - I think this is another PPC program taking its last breaths.

Receptor 2007-08-08 02:07 PM

Oh crap, who will I give me my beer money when they die? All my sponsor money goes for hoes ...
Anyway, thanks for letting me know.

I'm with you LD |thumb

If you had a non-adult site you could just link to that. You could even make your own exit landing page.
