Building Recip Tables
 

Just wondering how all you free site builders went about building your recip tables without knowing who will approve you and who will not.

I mean do you just add to them as you get approved or do you have a template built and edit it as you get approved?

I have tried Recipbuilder already and I think its a little too awkward for me.

Figure out what genre you want to submit to, then go to a site of your choice and check out the sites that they use in their recips.

Use some of those, but make your own original table, just use the same sites to submit too. Switch them up and use trial and error to find out which ones you want to keep or not.

That, or use the traffic tool on this board to see who accepts what and use trial and error again.

Recently the traffic master Mr. Mary Lou gave some very good advice on this topic at On The Bench. Read (and understand) the rules of the top 5-6 traffic producing link lists. Build your sites so that they fit all the rules of those sites and you will get listed at almost every place you submit your sites.

You can adjust your recip tables as nec from there. :)

I forgot to add, do not overlook niche specific link lists. The traffic is very targeted. (another tip from MML |boobies| )

On the bench is a weekly radio show, hosted by mml. It is live at 12pm pst (3pm est) on saturdays.

There is no archived shows, so you have to be there.

Unforunately i usually have to work and only get to make a few, but they are invaluable. Both for what you learn, who you meet and how much fun it is.

oldbrad is totally right, just submit and after checking your stats after awhile add or remove LLs till you get it done right :)
