key words, how does one get SE traffic?
 

My site(hub) http://asian-bliss.com has been listed on Google for months now. However, I have yet to recieve one hit from google or any other SE. I've tried changing my title keywords a few times. Have a shit load of keywords in the meta tag(although I'm told meta tags don't work anymore).

I guess what I need to know is what does it take to get traffic from SE's? Is it just a matter of the right keywords on your index.html? Do I have to be the first to add the next big porn star in my title?

Meta tags do not work for the most part so google scans your page in the body looking for keywords it can use to list your site with/under. Ummm, look at your site. It has no words at all in the body other than the warning.

What Ramster said, plus changing it too ofter will screw up getting listed. Unless you have the return set to daily.

First off.. Use one way of listing your domain..

http://www.asian-bliss.com/
or
http://asian-bliss.com/

Make sure the / is on the end of the domain too...

http://asian-bliss.com actually generates an error, and Google likes it better if it doesnt.


As Ramster said.. Google, in general, "measures" your page based on the text within the page.. So using lots of descriptive text can help.


Do not aim to be #1 for "asian porn" - that will take time and a lot of relevance and incoming links.(Yes aim for it. but dont expect to be there in 3 weeks :) )

You are #1 at Google for: - "asian bliss"
and #2 for "asian porn network"

These are the keywords that Google found within your page and the ones it finds most relevant for your site.

Adjusting the KWs used in your index apge (and the other pages of your site) will help you get ranked for other KWs.


note - IMO Google ignores the robot-revisit meta tag.

DD If You Add the / after the url after you are allready listed in google wil it mess anything up for a while

No it wont hurt.. in fact Goog will already have you right one listed..

I meant when linking to your site, or when others link to you, and when submitting..

make sure you use one form or the other and make sure the / is on the end;)

I've heard alt-tags are picked up very well by SE too...

Alt tags and internal links with description seems to works best for me... |bananna|
