Problem with burning a DVD

I have a 15 min. movie on my computer and I was trying to burn it to a disc with Sony MyDVD and near the end I got this error message:

Could not complete the last command because: No audio decoder available for this stream type. (DVDErr, -47002)

What do I have to do/get to burn movies to DVD's?

A quick Google got me this.

What version of Windows Media Player you are using? If It is possible for you, install latest version of Windows Media Player 11 and check If the problem still persists. (I have solved one similar problem this way earlier but that was a different software)

Looks like version 6.4.09.1130. I just downloaded version 11. Does Media Player burn DVD's?

No, It doesn't. Took this quote from their site.

Can I use Windows Media Player to burn DVDs?

Unfortunately, no. At this time, Windows Media Player can only be used to burn CDs and copy files to portable devices. If you have a DVD burner, and you want to burn DVDs, you must use the software that came with the DVD burner.

Then why did you ask in your previous post what version of Media Player I have?

I asked you becasue installing media player installs several decoders and encoders on the system automatically. Such as Fraunhofer and others. I thought its worth a try to see If the new encoders resolves your problem.

Ahh, that makes sense. I'll give it a try.

Well I'll be damned, that worked. I burned a couple of wmv's to a disc and am burning some more right now. Thanks for the suggestion!
