Oh and I'm a mac user.

Cleo 2007-08-08 01:07 PM

Sorry a user error has occurred.
Replace user and press any key...

Everything is working normally for me.

But you are a mod.

I have no idea what you mean by the "user error" part.. where, what and when to do?

digifan 2007-08-08 03:05 PM

I see I am the user to be replaced...
I emptied the cookies, history and all personal stuff but checked the cookies first and here they are and I did not visit topbucks.

I have no idea why you're being redirected to TopBucks.

But I can tell you that in Firefox you won't see the cookie information until you select something inside one of those folders. Selecting the folder name itself will always show you just what those two examples you posted show.

Also, to see your examples we need to reload the page after getting the 403 error:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /topbuckspop/tb1.jpg on this server.

Greenguy 2007-08-08 03:41 PM

We're hosting the topbucks banners, so it's not that.

Cleo's my gauge for everything Mac & Firefox, so that's no that.

Does this only happen when you check your PM's? were you reading a PM from a user that had a sig file?

I've been called a lot of things but I think this is the first time I've been called a gauge. :D

Does this happen in Safari?

digifan 2007-08-08 05:03 PM

Wow you rock guys and girls ;)

So I got a notification of a pm, a blog link trade and while replying, I just lost the forum and ended up at topbucks.

Simon,
I am sorry the links work if you copy and paste them.

I tried reproducing the error after clearing the cache, history and cookies and restarting Firefox 2.0.0.6, it is an update which came out on Monday I think. Before quitting it I made the screenshot of the cookies.

Little Gauge :)
I am not using Safari because while I have access to the ccbill admin, I see nothing on the blank pages.

Hey, I'm a neird....

My very uneducated guess is that it might be something in the sig file - can yoiu PM me the name of the person that sent you the PM so I can look?

If it's not that, I blame it on |cleo|

I've also seen some hotlinked avatars without proper permissions throw some interesting errors on boards.

Yes sire :)

I looked at his sig & that's not what's causing it.

The only thing I can say is to let us know if it happens again.
