No submits from me for a week.

Just a heads up in case any link list owners wonder where my submits are next week. (20th - 27th August)
As if the school holidays wasn't bad enough, (crippling my submits - dammit), I've been emotionally blackmailed into visiting my family for a week on the other side of the country. Emotional stuff as it's been over 11 years since I've seen some of them.

Anyway, submits will continue afterwards, with an increase in quality and frequency, and I want to apologise in advance for the missing week of submits.
:)

Oops.
My post made me sound very hostile towards my family - I'm not!
I'm really looking forward to seeing them.

I would have preferred more time to prepare.
During the holidays I've been choosing family before work again and again. It's great doing the right thing - spending "real" time with my children and lady, but it's reflecting badly on my income which makes it very frustrating.
A full week off won't help, but my family comes first especially after 11 years.
:)

I'll miss your submits for sure but family is important so have a good time and your porn biz will be here when you get back. |waves|

3 of my 4 kids go back to school next week! |party

It's not a bad thing to stop working from time to time. You get a chance to look at your work from different perspective when you come back.

Not to mention that the time you spend working is the time you spend away from your family (AND kids).

Although I agree wholeheartedly with this comment (I try to get away for a few weeks a year to a place where there are no computers, no TV, no phone, etc.), if you are worried about not submitting hurting your bottom line, don't you have mobile Internet over there? I don't think there is a part of mainland Britain where you cannot get onto the Internet via mobile. I don't use it myself, but I'm glad it is there in case I ever need it.
