Chinese Referrer
 

I have notice very odd referrers in my stats, they appear to be chinese can anyone tell me what they are doing as it is a bit of traffic.

More important, what should I do about it|huh

Looks like some forums. I don't speak Chinese, but forum traffic doesn't sound tempting.

I think that blocking some IPs is in order.

Or better still, redirect to a Chinese sponsor, that way you make some cash.

Could I redirect to a pay per click sponsor like warningpages?

That would be a good question for the folks that run warningpages. I doubt they would appreciate that kind of traffic but that is a question only they can answer.

I don't know this particular sponsor, but I know that most PPC sponsors have a list of countries that they DON'T pay for traffic from. So before you do this, check that you will actually get paid for the click.

Are you sure these are real visitors? I noticed a smilair url in my stats and I found that this forum was full of hotlinked images. I have added them to my .htaccess and replaced the images with some nice banners :)
