Question about Running XXX Sites in Europe

Hello...I hope this is the right place to post this question, but does anyone know if it's illegal or if the local police will come break my door down and arrest me if I run my XXX sites from Italy or Spain? I'm actually considering a job transfer and that's one of the factors I'm weighing. Please advise if you have any insight or experience.

Thank you...

I know a few webmasters in those countries but I've found that asking legal questions from webmasters is very hit and miss. My recommendation is always, "Talk to a real lawyer". Most will chat with you before charging you.

A lawyer is your best place to get legal info. Call around and find one that deals in what your want to know about, schedule an appointment and lay a 20 dollar bill on his desk and say "Tell me when that runs out". Start asking your questions. Lawyers LOVE to talk and you'll be amazed how much info you can get for $20.00 :D

Both pay attention to this post and ignore it!

Pay attention to the part about seeing a lawyer., but ignore the bit about paying in dollars. DO NOT go to an American lawyer, go to a lawyer in the country you are interested in (this means two lawyers, one for Italy and one for Spain). However, any good US lawyer who advertises that they deal with European law will have some kind of arrangement with Spanish and Italian lawyers an be able to poke you in their direction.

Also be a bit wary of the cost. If you pay $20, you ain't gonna get more than a few seconds with a worthwhile lawyer of ANY nationality. Think in terms of a few hundred dollars. It may sound like a lot, but I hear that Spanish prisons are hell holes.

But as to

I think that there are no law restictions about running xxx sites in Italy! I'm 99% sure about that!

I don't think there would be a problem in Spain or in Italy..
