Amateur NetCash seems to cheat on you for your traffics to nextdooramateur.com
I have tested numerous times and I cannot see my ccbill id in nextdooramateur.com signup page. Their other sites seems to work fine but nobody knows what is next.
Click on your link to www.nextdooramateur.com go to its ccbill join page and search for your ccbill id. It seems that they are using other merchant id so no affiliates can get the credit. If this is wrong or there is a just reason, I am terribly sorry but I have tested many times. They have two different signup page for the same site. |
did you try to contact the sponsor and ask them about it?
if they are a smaller program there is a chance its as simple as a programming bug somewhere or something that was overlooked. seems plausible if all the other sites are fine. |
No, I have not.
I have been watching the site for the last 6 days and they have been using other merchant id with another signup page. I have sent a couple of thousands clicks for the first 2 days of 6. I don't want them to know who I am. I am a small guy. It is simple. If you are pushing the site, you can test it now clicking on your link. If you see your ccbill id please let me know. I will apologize and take this back. Try their join link and click thru a couple of their model pages though. Some models are working fine but most of them goes to the other signup page without your ccbill id. I just want them to do it right and to know affiliates are watching their sites. |

And the really bad news is that lots of sponsors read this board. they now ALSO know who you are, and they will have made a note of you as being a 'pain in the ass'. Quote:
2. They already know that their affiliates are watching them. They know that (most of us) are not stupid. 3. That may be what you 'want', but all you have achieved is to tell the webmastering community what sort of person YOU are. |
I am glad that Bob asked about contacting the sponsor first thing. When people read a post accusing a sponsor of wrongdoing with an apology or not if he is wrong, they think the person has at least notified the sponsor.
When a site gets added to a program, the sponsor tests it over and over. But sometimes, shit does happen. A big part of testing and fixing a problem within a program is trusting that webmasters will let them know if there is a problem. Never be afraid to let a program know that there may be a problem. You will be thanked and things will be made right. If you are afraid to be labeled a troublemaker, going to the board before trying other avenues is the wrong thing to do. |
To ecchi,
Hew. I am the bad person then. I think I should have used "make mistake" rather than "cheat" at the beginning. I am sorry if some part of my first posting bothers you much. You could have give me lessons in nice and kind way though. Well I did not write an email not just because I am lazy or anonymous. It may be part of it. I don't think that all of the sponsors are good guys like your writing implies. I still believe that if this kind of problem is a mistake, it should not have been made at the beginning. I have been testing more often when I see this kind of problem on public board so my bad reputation and laziness hopefully comensate other possible mistakes in future. If Amateur NetCash want to tell me something, PM me. I will delete this thread if I can in one day anyway. Sorry for my short English. |
It seems that I cannot delete or edit my first posting. I am not familiar with this public board things.
On my second thought, I have to say I should have sent them an email before I started this thread. Well I specified what I found to a site of the sponsor. I apologize that I use "cheat" at the beginning. My impression with Amateur NetCash for years is that its rebills last for long time. My traffics does not convert as well as I hope but rebills are always more than I expected. If someone can edit my first posting, please change "cheat" to "bug" or something so people reading it does not have wrong impressions with Amateur NetCash. |

Also, because you did not bother telling the sponsor when you first noticed the problem you have delayed the time it will be fixed. This means that for a few days at least, other affiliates will have lost money simply because you did not tell the sponsor. In other words, due to what is probably a simple error, several 'average Joes' will loose money. It is most likely that this was not deliberate on the sponsor's side. But on your side, it was deliberate. YOU had the chance to help put this right by telling the sponsor, YOU made the DELIBERATE DECISION not to do so, thus several people have lost money because YOU DECIDED TO NOT TELL THE SPONSOR. The sponsor probably acted by accident, but you acted DELIBERATELY. How can you not see how this makes you the 'bad guy'? Quote:

To ecchi,
Your points are very well taken. Thank you for your efforts and time. I will be more careful and think more than twice before I write this kind of subject. Sincerely, |
