A nice long weekend and the summer is done. :) So far there's not too much going on today. But, it is a big week with treatments starting again.

Both rain and sun are still deciding who's going to take the upper hand today, so far it looks like the rain is going to win.
With everything being back to normal again I hope to get some new stuff up and running real soon.

Back to school for my daughter today. She's a bit nervous since she's going to a new school now and she takes the bus. Our old house was just up the street from the school so we walked. She's a kid, she'll survive.

It's back to work for me today.

Watched another really strange and amusing movie yesterday called Fur.

Just a day of banging on the keyboard with a little afternoon house cleaning planned.

Morning To All :)

After 3 days of chasing problems sparing no expenses to treatment and tests we had to say goodbye to our cat last night. He was just 6 years old (we had him 5 1/2 yrs) and was the most loveable pet my wife or I had ever had. What started as not eating/dehydration turned to liver failure. Yesterday morn they had a turn around with the liver, which gave us hope, only for the kidneys to let go. Platelet counts were 5 times higher than normal, common with cancer, creating poor clumping and blockage shutting the kidneys down with nothing the doctors could do. As an indoor only cat he was very much a part of the family and is deeply missed already.

For those that had offered kind words in previous posts, I thank you for they were noticed and appreciated. For those that may say I kind word after this I will Thank You now for I will be scarce.

My condolences JustRobert. I also had to put a young cat down this year due to the same thing.

Good morning Greenie and the gang. Sorry to hear about your loss justrobert. Yesterday I finally made some use from the grapes in my backyard. I crushed, de-stemmed and de-seeded enough grapes to make 16 gallons of wine. Never made wine before so I will let you know how it turns out in 4-6 months.

Sorry to hear about your cat, JustRobert. I hope you can one day find another one just as lovable not as a replacement but as an addition.

Sorry to hear that JustRobert. In case you have other cats at home (and for others who have cats), if you're filling their water bowl with tap water, you may want to consider switching to bottled or filtered water instead. Some folks believe the chemicals in tap water can be bad for cats and other small animals.
